Well for those who have never heard of Christ or never heard the story of Christ being born and why he died, you might think the reason for the season is santa claus and his elves and giving/receiving gifts. But I must let you know, as a believer; JESUS is the reason for the season. Many have not heard his life story and many are tired of hearing about his life story. But if it wasn’t for Jesus dying on the cross, none of us would be alive today. He carried our sins so that we may have life and live abundantly. He shed his innocent blood for each and every one of his, believer and non-believer. And he gives us chance after chance to have a closer relationship with him and to get to know him.
Many people back when Jesus was alive didn’t know who he was and they mocked him and some could care less. Others didn’t believe he was the Son of God and didn’t believe his teachings; until they seen that he healed the sick and caused a blind man to see. They didn’t believe in him until he healed the lady with the issue of blood for 12 years; until he healed the man with leprosy; until he arose on the Sabbath (third) Day of his death (just to name a few miracles). The tomb was rolled back and he was gone! Jesus is the reason for the season and for those who believe in him will not perish but will have everlasting life. Those who believe him won’t lack where the world lack; when the economy is going downhill with losing jobs and homes; Gods people will not lack food, homes, and jobs. For those who look at and to the president and current things going on in the world, God keeps his people so they won’t have to worry. But you have to have faith in God and trust him. He has many promises for those who believe in him. And if you don’t know him it’s not too late to start!
Yes, there are those who have never heard of the stories and testimonies of Jesus, the Son of God and there are those who don’t believe in him but I’m a living witness that Jesus is real and his promises to his people are real and he really does keep his promises. He is not like man but He is promise keeper. And his words never return to him void; meaning he has to do just what he said he’ll do because he is not a liar. Jesus words and works are ministered and taught through evangelism. And you don’t have to have the title of a pastor, deacon, elder or minister to evangelize; because evangelism is simply telling, teaching and sharing the gospel of Jesus. And the gospel of Jesus is always about his good works.
To sum up my writing on “The Reason for the Season”, JESUS is the reason for the season! This season is not about giving and receiving gifts. But it’s about the birth of Jesus on Christmas and the things he has done for all of us while he was alive and when he died to live again. We can spend any amount of money on gifts and toys but without Jesus the Christ no one is truly happy. Jesus is love and He is the reason for the season. Be Blessed!
Was I Born A Lesbian?

In the beginning, God made it very simple. In the Holy Bible, its breaks down everything he created; from the birds, trees, animals, ocean, humans, all in the King James Versions to the New International Version to the Contemporary English Version Bible. In Genesis 1:26-28, God created man and woman and he blessed them to have lots of children. You can’t do that with two men together or two woman together. Therefore, that answers the question, Was I born gay/lesbian? No. God did not create man to turn to a woman, he did not create men from a woman and he did not say in His word that man will have woman ways.
In fact, the bibles condemnation of homosexuality is as clear and plain as it condemns murders, adultery, envy, idolatry, kidnapping, lying, premarital sex and the like. (Read Galatians 5:19-21). If you think God or the bible promotes homosexuality after reading the verses from this study then you should seek his face through praying, fasting and meditating on his word. He will reveal the truth to you. But you will be accountable for knowing the truth, which I tell you today. I know it’s really hard to believe the word of God because the world makes homosexuality seems so right and sound so easy but it will all lead you to hell. We must all be doers not just hearers of the word(James1:19-22). For we are in the world but not of the world and we’ve all sinned and fell short of Gods glory and still do. But Jesus died for our the remission of our sins. Any sinner should always remember that the God who commands us to love our neighbor is the same God who will cast away all unrepentance sinners into the eternal lake of fire.
God gave us a free will but we’re also given guidance in the way we should go in order to make it to Heaven and to live eternally with our Heavenly Father when he returns for all his children or until death do us part. But I’m here to let you know for certain that the bible condemns such practices and God will judge us all. That those who practice homosexuality in privacy will be judged because God knows and sees everything and he hates sin. Sins that we think we can hide from people, God sees all and he has his way of letting us know that he knows we’ve sinned because he sends a prophet or a man or woman of God to deliver a message to us of warning. Therefore, we must crucify ourselves daily! I know from personally experience that a servant of God is sent to let you know God sees and knows all and that person will come to warn us not to fall into the trap of temptation. Sin can be dismissed by praying and binding up of the enemy’s tricks. Pray and fast and the enemy with his sin will flee.
“Flee sexual immortality. Every sin that a man does is outside of the body but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the holy spirit who is in you, whom you have from God and you are not your own. For you were brought with a price; therefore glory God in your body and in spirit which are Gods.”(I Corn. 6:18-20).
A few other bible references that proves condemnation of homosexuality is Leviticus 18:22, you can actually read that whole chapter to find out what happens to those who sin without repentance. It’s sad that those in the world think that homosexuality is “just life” and that they were born that way. No my friend to be gay or a lesbian is ones option and opinion. If you were brought up that way it really isn’t your fault but at a certain age you will get the picture that it’s really not normally to have certain tendencies that the other sex have and if gone too far you can become attracted to the same sex and begin to do unordinary things.
Romans 8 says, “There is therefore no condemnation to those who live in Christ Jesus because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death…” I don’t know about you but I don’t want to be defiled from any land or any nation because of my sins but I want to seek God with all my heart, mind and soul. Leviticus 18:22 says, “ Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman, that is detestable.” (detestable means to hate or to loathe). That’s an abomination against God, which also means loathing or a feeling of disgust. Leviticus 20:13…”if a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.” I Corinthians 6:9, “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived already: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, not adulterers, nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders.
Some people are unhappy with themselves so they try to fill the void and then end up falling in the ways of sin daily. They have low self-esteem and have internal conflict within themselves which makes them think homosexuality is ok because others are doing it even those who are suppose to be pastors and anointed leaders. God will judge us all separately. Some will be judged for twisting, adding and making edits to his Holy Word. God will judge us individually not in a group, not with our friends or church leaders so we will all be held accountable for what we know. God loves his children, each and every one of us the same. We have been so lost in the sins of this world that we’ve made our sins a lifestyle. Some think that since God is a merciful, caring God that “oh I can just repent tomorrow or later cause He knows my heart.” No my friend, tomorrow is not promised. Hell is real and is real hot. If you think the summer is hot with 105 degrees try hell. You’re skin will burn slow and you’re soul will be hurt with no one to help you. Ask for forgiveness now!
With that being said, no one is born gay or a lesbian. Homosexuality is a lifestyle, something that is learned by society or those around you. God does not intend for no man or no woman to like the same sex or commit any sin with the same sex person. He created man and woman and did not predestined us to exchange sex at any certain age. But we’re created in the image he wanted us to be (Genesis1:27). “…We’re fearfully and wonderfully made.(found in Psalms 139:13-17). God took his precious time making each of us in our mothers womb, from our tiny fingernails to our toenails.
Give your life today. Repent for your sins today. God is a God of a second chances but how many times do you want to repent for the same sin you know you need to stop committing? The world is not worth you losing your soul and hell is real. Reconnect with God and give Him your yes! If you’ve never known Him, learn about His great works today. He didn’t stop performing miracles when you were born. The enemy is very deceiving and his only plan is to torture your soul, kill, steal and destroy your plans in life God has predestined for you. You can be free today. *Read Colossians 2:8-14* Give him your all, He wants it all. He only wants the best for you- peace, prosperity, success, and long-life.
For further reading about homosexuality in the bible, you can read about the cities of Sodom and Gommorah; they were both destroyed by God because of homosexuality (Genesis 19 and Jude 1:7).
I pray this study has helped someone and helped bring you closer to Christ.
When the Righteous Cry

Triumphant
When the righteous cry, the Lord hearth and delivereth them out of all their troubles (Psalms 34:17). God has spoiled us to a certain extent that he gives us favor when we don’t think we deserve. Why? Because He is faithful. He is love, longsuffering, gentle, kind… the list goes on. So many times we cry out to him in doubt and fearing that he doesn’t hear our cry. But the whole time he saying, “Just be quiet and listen.” “Lo, I am with you always”. Gods’ still small voice is such an awesome sound to hear but we can’t really seek and/or find him because we’re sooo loud and going wild when we can’t have our way or when were going through certain things. We even think we’ve got everything under control neglecting Gods role in our lives.
As we go through life day-to-day, daily we are tested. We’re talked about, misunderstood, lied on, lied to, falsely accused, stabbed in the back by “so-called friends, mentally and verbally abused, let down, bashed, we go through trials and tribulation. Yet, God always sees us through. When the righteous cry, He’s going to love us anyway and with that comes favor. We have to go through each process of life so that God can reveal himself to us. And the good thing about going through is that God won’t ever put more on us than we can bear. He will never put you in a situation that your faith will fail. Hebrews 11:6 says: “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that he is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him”. We must also remember that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28); and that’s us, the believers of Christ.
Whatever you’re going through, whatever the situation, give it to Jesus! Things aren’t going to get better until you give that burden to The Father. There is nothing too big or too small for him. And nothing will be strange to him because he knows exactly what you need and exactly when you need it. He’s All Knowing. Even when we say to ourselves “I’m good, I can handle it, I got this, I got this!” God wants us to give him every situation and every problem so we won’t have to bear the pain of hurting ourselves and even others. The devil wants us to give up and cry but there’s nothing like asking for Gods guidance and His extra protection. He is the problem-solver and a wonderful counselor. He waits for us daily to come to him; when we’re attacked with distress and worry. For when the righteous cry, Yahweh hears and answers with deliverance and with his mighty power to set his free. We gotta be the opposite of what the devil wants us to be! He can’t see the end results but God can!
Living Destiny Minded

I’ve come that you may have life and that you may have it more abundantly. In the bible, God already said he gave us an abundant life but are we walking destiny minded? Destiny is (according to Webster’s Concise English Dictionary) a power that seems to arrange people’s life in advance. And abundantly or abundance means more than enough or plenty. So living a destiny minded life would mean living and working to stay on track with what was already predestined or already ordered for us. And while walking and living that life God would bless you to have plenty.
Now living in your destiny you’re going to have moments where it seems like God isn’t there to help you. Why? Because He’s going to throw some curve balls to test your faith in Him. There’s going to be a few speed bumps to slow you down to see if you truly trust Him in each and every situation. Living destiny minded will help build your character, faith and love for Christ. You’re going to lose some things in the process but don’t let that deter you from the prize at the end. Times will get rough and tough but while living in your destiny and having being destiny minded, you have to remember that destiny means there’s already a plan in advance and this life is planned by the Master, which is God. You just gotta walk the tight rope and sometimes it’ll feel like you’re walking it blind folded but you gotta walk it out. Now adding to that we often times cause bad things to happen in the process because we refuse to listen to God and the voice that’s inside of us. We try to take the short way out; which cause us to act in disobedience. Obedience and better than sacrifice but we put a hold on the good things that we’re suppose to have because disobedience and sin (Jeremiah. 5:25).
We gotta learn to be humble and slow to speak than to submit to disobedience and to being unwise. Commit thy works unto the Lord and they thoughts shall be established (Proverbs 16:3) it’s better to have a humble spirit than to divide the spoil with the proud.(Proverbs 16:19). Meaning we should depend on the Lord to give us everything we need because He knows what’s best for us, as we are His children with a predestined life. Now if we have too much pride to ask God for what we need, it’ll just slow the process of destiny goods because our motives might not always be good for what we want at the time; whereas trusting in Him should be all we do. Living destiny minded doesn’t mean you have to be perfect but you have to be humble and you have to submit your will to God (you have to let Him have His way in your life).
While living destiny minded, your thoughts have to be upgraded and negative thoughts have to be uprooted and killed. Your mind controls your actions and your actions always cause affects; it’s up to you whether those thoughts are negative or positive. But to live an abundant life, that’s already arranged, we’ve got to have a positive mind for positive results. Simply because we’re suppose to. Now your mind and thoughts need to be under subjection, if not you can be easily distracted. Distractions can cause your destiny to be held up and pushed back but we are all destined to something. When you’re at a detour in your life, what are you thinking? While at a stop sign, stop light, or yielding, what’s on your mind as you’re traveling to that specific destination? See speed bumps are going to be there too, but are you going to go over them with caution or drive recklessly. While having destiny on your mind, it’s about endurance; it’s the process and time spent during the process. It’s about what’s being done during the struggle and how much you’ve endured.
Are you living destiny minded with a goal to endure until the end? All we have to do is trust and have faith in God. He already promised us an abundant life with destiny included…you have benefits with 401k.
